Hello! Welcome to Cougar team English! Wow! The second period is now over. This year is flying at warp speed! Please check out the slide shows on my homepage and the Cougar team page. We've had a good time learning this marking period, and everyone seems to be enjoying school! 8th graders did a great job with the Justice unit and with their music essays. We will be engaged in a Hero Unit and a Mystery Unit in the 3rd marking period. 7th graders wrote excellent personal narratives and Greek mythology stories! More fun and adventure is on the horizon! Currently, 7th graders are studying poetry, and they are also writing some spectacular poetry that has blown us away! I've enjoyed teaching this group. They are an absolutely superb group of kids. I can't believe the year has reached its midpoint. I already know I will miss this group, so I'll have to savor the second half.
